Abhiroop Jayanthi joined Bain Capital in 2018. He is a Managing Director and a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Consumer, Healthcare, and Technology verticals.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Abhiroop worked with Warburg Pincus, where he focused on investments in financial services, consumer, and tech. Prior to that, he worked with TA Associates with a focus on healthcare, consumer, and business services. Previously, he was a consultant with A.T. Kearney, focused on oil and gas and consumer industries.
Education
Abhiroop received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Palmer Scholar. He also received a Postgraduate Diploma in finance and financial law from the University of London. He received a BTech in industrial engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi where he was awarded the Director’s Gold Medal.
