Experience

Florian Taufmann joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is a Partner in the European Private Equity team. Florian focusses on investments in the DACH region across sectors and on investments in the European industrials sector.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Florian worked at Lone Star / Hudson Advisors focusing on private equity investments in the European industrials and services space. Previously, Florian worked at BC Partners, with a focus on private equity investments in the DACH region, and at JP Morgan, in the German M&A Advisory team.


Education

Florian received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.
