Nancy Lotane

Nancy Lotane joined Bain Capital in 2007. She is a Partner, Chief Human Resources Officer for the firm, and Chief Operating Officer for Private Equity. Nancy leads a team of human resources professionals responsible for recruiting, performance management and leadership development, compensation, culture, and diversity and inclusion for the more than 1,700 employees working for Bain Capital globally. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Nancy worked as Chief Marketing and Development Officer and Head of North American Operations for Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman. In that role, she was also responsible for Learning, Knowledge Management, and intellectual capital development. Prior to that, Nancy was a consulting partner at Mercer and Corporate Decisions, Inc., focused on retail and consumer products. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant at Braxton Associates.
