Experience

Philip Kim joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is an Executive Vice President on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Philip worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in the Seoul office, focusing on performance transformation and operational improvement for clients in the consumer and retail sectors. Previously, he worked at Samsung C&T in cross-border M&A and corporate strategy.


Education

Philip received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Geography from Seoul National University.
