Experience

Wei Yu joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is an Operating Partner on the Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Wei served as CEO and CMO at several publicly listed and privately held companies. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he focused on strategy, turnarounds, and operational improvement for leading consumer and retail companies.


Education

Wei received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BE in electrical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
